Privacy Policy — Remova

Remova ("the app", "we", "us") is a phone cleaner and storage optimizer. We built Remova to be privacy-first: it works on your device and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. This policy explains what the app accesses, why, and what leaves your device (almost nothing).

Summary

No account required. You do not sign up or log in to use Remova.
On-device processing. Your photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events are read and processed only on your device to find what can be cleaned.
No uploads. We do not transmit your photos, videos, contacts, or calendar data to our servers or any third party. We do not have servers that receive your files.
No tracking. We do not use advertising IDs and do not run third-party analytics or ad SDKs that profile you.

Information the app accesses (and why)

Remova requests the following permissions only to provide its features. Access is used locally and the underlying data is never sent off your device.

Photos and media / storage — to scan, preview, compress, and delete the photos, videos, and files you choose to clean.
Contacts — only if you open the contact-cleanup feature, to find duplicate or incomplete contacts and remove the ones you select.
Calendar — only if you open the calendar-cleanup feature, to find and remove old (past) events you select.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission disables the related feature.

Subscriptions and payments

Remova offers optional paid subscriptions (e.g. weekly and yearly plans, including a free trial). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment card details.
